Easy-drinking red blend composed of mainly Garnacha with a splash of Cabernet Sauvignon and Tempranillo. Intense bouquet of ripe red fruit with a layer of floral notes. Spices and elegant tannins on the finish.
The grapes for this wine are cultivated on just a hectares in the province of Messina in Silicy. A coastal, volcanic wine with aromas of Mediterranean macchia, myrtle, and garrigue spice.
Lucien Lardy Fleurie ‘Les Moriers’
Les Moriers was classified a Beaujolais Premier Cru in 1874; the vines are over a century old. Very elegant with extremely fine tannins. Can be aged for up to 15 years, but shows beautiful black cherry and violet notes in its youth.
Desert Hills Gewürztraminer
Notes of rose petal, refined floral and spicy flavours, and finishes with a smooth, long, finish. Pairs well with Asian dishes, curries, or great sipping on its own.
100% Primitivo (the ancestor to Zinfandel), aged 50% in Slavonia oak and 50% in stainless steel. Notes of complex and rich spices, pepper, chocolate, and red cherries. Pair with Italian sausage, or grilled goat or lamb.
La Gioiosa Rosea Brut
Just a touch off-dry, this blend of 80% Pinot Noir and 20% Pinot Blanc is sure to please. Floral and fruity with delicate notes of ripe apple.
Sybille Kuntz makes this beautiful and elegant Spätburgunder (Pinot Noir) rose from her husband Markus Riedlin-Kuntz’s vineyard. Very small production and organic. The beautiful label was done by Markus’ grandfather, Adolf Riedlin.
La Miranda Garnacha
The Garnacha bush vines are over 70 years old, yielding fruit with amazing concentration of flavor. The resulting wine is rich, intense and full of flavour. A deep cherry red colour, with ripe berry and floral aromas, and powerful ripe fruit flavours are complemented perfectly by toasty oak characters imparted during 8 months’ ageing in French barrels.
The Tessari family has been making wine since the 1800s, but in the 1980s the family redefined what growing quality grapes could be-tying clonal selection to site-specific areas, lowering Garganega's prodigious yields, and making the wines in tune with the terroir. Fresh aromas of apple, pear and almond balance clean minerality and a hint of fresh herb.
A delicious blend of Grenache, Syrah, and Carignan from Languedoc in France. Dark plum, spice, and leather. Perfect with barbeque or beef tacos.
Tawse ‘Laundry’ Cabernet Franc
Bright and aromatic with notes of cedar and blackberry, with smooth but firm tannins on the palate. Rounded out by raspberries on the finish. Terrific food pairer; try with with seared lamb chops, beef ragu, or moussaka.
Stirm Riesling Can
Riesling in a can, what more can we say? Organically grown, only 25 ppm of sulfur, un-fined, and no added yeasts. Bright and delicious, this is perfect summer wine.
